Partner Neely Sharp Griffith gave a guest lecture titled "Health Care Fraud and Abuse in an Era of Reform" on Monday, April 19, at Widener University School of Law in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Her presentation provided an overview of the legal and regulatory framework for health care fraud enforcement, including the recent changes effected by the health care reform legislation. Ms. Griffith also addressed the potential effectiveness of the reform legislation in stemming the rising tide of health care fraud and abuse in the industry.
