Rachal Dené Chance Joins Jones Walker's Lafayette Litigation Group

LAFAYETTE, La.—Jones Walker is pleased to announce that Rachal Dené Chance has joined the firm's Lafayette, La. office as an associate in the Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group.
Ms. Chance has experience with litigation relating to insurance coverage, contracts, defense and indemnity obligations, the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act (OCSLA), the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act (LHWCA), the Louisiana Oilfield Anti-Indemnity Act (LOAIA), the Texas Oilfield Anti-Indemnity Act (TOAIA), the Louisiana Products Liability Act (LPLA), and maritime law. Prior to joining Jones Walker, she served as an associate at Daigle Rayburn LLC in Lafayette, and also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John C. Davidson, Ninth District Judicial Court in Alexandria, La.
Ms. Chance is a 2007 graduate of the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University, where she received her juris doctor degree and Diploma in Civil Law. At LSU, Ms. Chance served as a research assistant to the late Professor Susan Kalinka. Ms. Chance is a 2003 graduate of Baylor University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology.
