Partner Palmer C. Hamilton and special counsel George A. LeMaistre, Jr. authored an op-ed article, titled "Insight: How Regulators are Making a Bad Situation Worse," in the Sunday, August 15 edition of the Mobile Press-Register. In the article, Messrs. Hamilton and LeMaistre discuss how some actions of regulators overseeing banks affected by the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico have put such banks, and the local financial infrastructure, at further risk.
