Two associates in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group, Shantell L. Payton and Avione Brown Pichon, were each appointed to the Executive Board of the Greater New Orleans Louis A. Martinet Legal Society, Inc. Ms. Payton has been chosen as Chair-Elect, while Ms. Pichon has been appointed to Treasurer of the 2011–2012 Executive Board. The Martinet Society is an organization devoted to the interchange of ideas, promotion of legal scholarship, advancement of the science of jurisprudence, upholding the order and ethics of the courts and profession of law, and promoting the welfare of the legal profession in Louisiana.
