Hurley Speaks at Maritime Personal Injury Conference at LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center

HurleyGrady S. Hurley, a partner in the firm's Admiralty & Maritime Practice Group in the New Orleans office, presented at the 12th Judge Alvin B. Rubin Conference on Maritime Personal Injury Law on Friday, April 11, 2014, at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University. Mr. Hurley's presentation titled, "Does the Doctrine of Negligence Per Se Under the Jones Act/Federal Employers Liability Act Apply for Violations of Regulations Outside of USCG Regulations," discussed whether this doctrine should be extended to violations of OSHA or other non-maritime regulations.
