Saratoga Conference Examines a Variety of Issues Facing Equine, Racing and Gaming Industries

SARATOGA SPRINGS, August 11, 2015 – Jones Walker gaming practice partner Marc W. Dunbar joins one of the country's largest contingents of law and business leaders in the equine, racing, and gaming industries in Saratoga Springs this week to discuss legal issues facing the industries and the overall state of the gaming industry. 
 
This year the Institute will focus on legal, regulatory, and ethical issues confronting the industries as well as expansion within racing and gaming throughout the country. Gaming law attorneys, business leaders, regulators, and legislators will convene for two days to share valuable insights about the ever-changing field of racing and gaming.
 
On Wednesday, Dunbar will participate in a panel discussion on Internet/Mobile Social Gaming and Virtual Currencies.
 
"This conference always provides a very unique opportunity to hear from a wide variety of individuals who have an impact every day on the state of gaming operations throughout the country," Dunbar said.
 
Sessions being offered during the two-day conference have been accredited as a source of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits for all attorneys in New York State. The CLE's are sponsored by the Albany Law School Institute of Legal Studies, which has been certified by the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board as an Accredited Provider of CLE's in the State of New York. The course has been accredited as a source of CLE credits for all attorneys in New York State.
