On January 17, tax partner Sonny Nunes was the guest speaker at the New Orleans Chapter of Financial Executives International January monthly meeting held at Ruth's Chris in Metairie. Mr. Nunes' presentation addressed the interaction of variouos provisions of the Katrina Emergency Tax Relief Act and the Gulf Opportunity Zone Act.  Jones Walker's CFO Andrew Bruns serves as the treasurer of the New Orleans Chapter of FEI.
