Cortizas Appointed to HCCL Board of Directors and ISL Board of Trustees
Jones Walker attorney Richard Cortizas was recently appointed to the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana (HCCL) Board of Directors and elected Parlimentarian. Richard has been involved with the HCCL since 1998. The HCCL is the premier business organization of Louisiana's Hispanic Community and provides information, services and networking opportunities to their members and associates.
Richard is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the International School of Louisiana (ISL), located in New Orleans. The ISL is a tuition-free, public charter school that is open to any child in Louisiana. ISL's mission is to provide a challenging education emphasizing French or Spanish language immersion, international awareness, the celebration of diversity, and community responsibility.
