Adams Speaks on Probable Impact of 2008 Elections on Labor and Employment Law
June 16, 2008

Labor & Employment partner H. Mark Adams participated in a panel discussion on the probable impact of the 2008 Presidential and Congressional elections on labor and employment law at the annual meeting of the Employers Council Network in Charleston, South Carolina, on June 4–6, 2008.  Adams discussed organized labor's legislative agenda, its likelihood of success depending on the outcome of the 2008 elections, and the potential impact on employers.

The Employers Council Network (ECN) is an exclusive organization composed of members of leading labor and employment law practices representing each of the 50 states and Canada.  The members of the ECN convene each year to share ideas on a variety of topics including developing trends in the law and legal market place and practice development.  The ECN also conducts two national seminars each year for human resource professionals and publishes a popular HR reference guide, "50 Employment Laws in 50 States," which the members update annually.
