Partner William H. Strait was awarded a special award at the Professional Landmen’s Association of New Orleans (PLANO) luncheon on June 9, 2008. Mr. Strait, the 2007 Chairman of the PLANO Education Committee, and Taylor Darden (of the Carver Darden law firm), 2008 Chairman of the Education Committee, were recognized for organizing outstanding oil and gas law seminars for landmen and lawyers, and for continuing PLANO's reputation for sponsoring high-quality continuing legal education and CPL education programs for its members.
