Special counsel Myla R. Reizen and associate Dana Bandera, both members of the firm's Miami office, recently co-authored an article in The Florida Bar's Health Law Section Newsletter. The article, titled "Quality of Care: A Key Area in OIG’s Draft Supplemental Compliance Program Guidance for Nursing Facilities," appears on the front page of the December 2008 issue. Ms. Reizen and Ms. Bandera discuss the Office of Inspector General's (OIG) review of the Draft Supplemental Compliance Program Guidance, which was designed as a supplement to the first nursing facility Compliance Program Guidance. The OIG is currently reviewing those comments and revising the Draft Supplemental Compliance Program Guidance for future publication in its final form.
