Tyson Elected Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of Capital Area Transit System
Associate Christopher J. Tyson was elected Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of Baton Rouge's Capital Area Transit System (CATS). Mr. Tyson, an associate in the firm's Real Estate Practice Group, will lead the Board's oversight of the agency and its efforts to improve public transit in Baton Rouge, as well as to obtain grants for new projects and developments in the public transit system. Actively involved in the planning and growth of Baton Rouge, Mr. Tyson has represented clients before the East Baton Rouge Parish Planning Commission and before community meetings related to various real estate and land entitlement matters.
