Grassie and M. King Selected to Florida Super Lawyers

MIAMI—Jones Walker is pleased to announce that special counsel Yvonne G. Grassie and partner Mark R. King have been selected to the 2009 edition of Florida Super Lawyers. Ms. Grassie has been selected to the publication for the third consecutive year, while Mr. King has been selected to "Florida Rising Stars 2009."
Ms. Grassie is the chair of the firm's Health Care
Industry Group, and her practice includes representation of a broad range of
healthcare entities, including home health agencies, independent diagnostic
testing facilities, medical staffing companies, medical billing companies,
physician groups, and individual health care providers, to name a few. Ms.
Grassie acts as outside counsel for her clients, handling a variety of
transactional work, as well as health care compliance, and regulatory analysis.
In addition to being named to Florida Super Lawyers, Ms. Grassie was
also twice named to Florida Trend’s Legal EliteTM.
Mr. King, a partner in the firm's Business &
Commercial Litigation Practice Group, joined Jones Walker in September 2008
when Jones Walker combined with Miller, Hamilton, Snider & Odom LLC. His
practice focuses on commercial litigation, with an emphasis on banking and
debtor/creditor relationships. He works with financial institutions, investors
and other creditors on loan sales and acquisitions, commercial and consumer
loan restructuring, and enforcing secured and unsecured distressed obligations.
