MIAMI—Jones Walker is pleased to announce that the following attorneys have joined the firm's Miami office:
D. Renee Jenkins, special counsel, Business &
Commercial Litigation
Gregory W. Kuehnle, associate, Real Estate
Constance D. Russell, associate, Business & Commercial Litigation
Ms. Jenkins
has experience in a variety of real estate and foreclosure litigation, as well
as insurance litigation, insurance coverage disputes, insurance defense, and
bad faith litigation. Prior to joining Jones Walker, Ms. Jenkins worked as an
associate with Adorno & Yoss in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., in that firm's
Business Litigation section. She was also a solo practitioner from 2006–2008,
maintaining a real estate title insurance practice and assisting clients with
municipal code regulation compliance, including land use and zoning and master
plan agreements. A 2002 graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, Ms.
Jenkins also served as a judicial clerk for the late Honorable Wilkie D.
Ferguson in spring 2002. She is a 1999 graduate of Florida A&M University,
where she received her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business, magna cum laude.
Mr. Kuehnle's practice focuses on commercial lending transactions, including loan
restructuring, loan origination, the creation and sale of large-scale mortgage
pools, mezzanine loans, organizational structuring, intercreditor agreements,
and S&P summaries. Mr. Kuehnle also has experience with workouts; mergers
and acquisitions; the formation, consolidation, and dissolution of entities;
and the drafting of operating agreements and board resolutions. Prior to
joining Jones Walker, Mr. Kuehnle worked as an associate with Williams Mullen
in that firm's Richmond, Va. office. He is a 2006 graduate of the University of
Notre Dame Law School, where he received his juris doctor degree and was a member
of the Business Law Association and the Federalist Society. Mr. Kuehnle
received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture, with honors, from the
University of Maryland, College Park, in 2002.
Ms. Russell
joins Jones Walker following a federal clerkship with the Honorable Catharine
R. Carruthers, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the
Middle District of North Carolina. Ms. Russell is a 2007 graduate of the
Vanderbilt University Law School, where she received her juris doctor degree.
At Vanderbilt, she was a Dean's Scholar, the inaugural student presenter
for The Social Justice Group, as well as a member of the Black Law Students
Association, the Women Law Students Association, and the Class of 2007 Gift
Committee. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University
of Pennsylvania in 2004.
