Bob Lemon practices from the firm's Houston and New Orleans offices.  With more than 25 years of trial and appellate practice, his litigation practice primarily involves the handling of marine collisions, cargo and charter party disputes, marine pollution, towage, salvage, maritime liens, marine insurance, and pipeline ruptures.

Mr. Lemon's transactional practice involves the drafting of charter party agreements, towage agreements, contracts of affreightment, bills of lading, salvage and wreck removal contracts, terminal agreements, and other maritime contracts.

He represents shipowners, operators, charterers, towboats and barge lines, terminals, shipyards, cargo owners, hull underwriters, and P&I underwriters. In addition, Mr. Lemon represents U.S. flag and foreign flag lash shipowners/operators concerning cargo disputes, including damage to steel, rubber, and grain cargoes, military cargoes, and various break bulk cargoes and concerning collision matters worldwide. He represents various owners and operators of towboats and barges in connection with collision, towage, pollution, and cargo matters, and in connection with the drafting of contracts of affreightment, bills of lading, and towage contracts. Mr. Lemon represents an ocean integrated tug-barge carrier in connection with collision, pollution, cargo salvage and towage matters, and in connection with commercial transactions. He also represents a Mississippi River bulk terminal and storage facility in connection with cargo claims, allisions, and vessel casualties, and in connection with negotiating and drafting various terminal contracts.

Mr. Lemon was an adjunct professor at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law from 1992–2005, where he taught a course entitled "Law of Marine Insurance."
