Debra Levy joined the firm in May of 2006 after practicing in the real estate section of Coats Rose and in the Houston office of Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw. Her practice focuses on real estate development, leasing and the acquisition, disposition, construction and financing of real estate projects including condominium regimes. She has more than 16 years of broad business experience obtained prior to attending law school. Ms. Levy owned and operated a consulting company specializing in the development, operation, and disposition of cellular telephone companies in small metropolitan markets. She also served as the Temple Administrator of a reform Jewish congregation where, in addition to managing the operations of the organization, she was responsible for overseeing the design and construction of a new facility and the capital campaign.
Ms. Levy is originally from New Orleans and relocated to Houston in May of 2000. In 2004 and 2005, Ms. Levy was selected by Texas Monthly as a "Rising Star" in the area of Real Estate.
