Mick Mauldin is a native of Laurel, Mississippi. Upon graduation from law school in 1973, Mr. Mauldin served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Reserve and later as staff counsel to the Committee on Rules of the U.S. House of Representatives, serving until 1980 when he entered private practice in Baton Rouge.
Mr. Mauldin is a Board-Certified Tax Specialist and an Estate Planning and Administration Specialist as certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization. His practice is predominantly transactional, although he periodically is involved in federal and state tax litigation. Mr. Mauldin has a tax, general corporate, and trust and estate practice. His primary areas of concentration include federal and state taxation, general corporate law, and estate planning and administration.Noteworthy
