Shelley Poore is a partner in the firm's Real Estate Practice Group. Her practice includes representing real estate developers, lenders, landlords, and tenants; drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial real estate agreements; and examining title to real property. Ms. Poore's experience has also included providing general business advice, negotiating the sale and purchase of businesses and assets, representing of borrowers and lenders in commercial lending transactions, and drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
Prior to joining Jones Walker in 2001, Ms. Poore served as a law clerk to the Honorable Justice Walter F. Marcus, Jr., Associate Justice, Supreme Court of the State of Louisiana from 1998–1999 and as an associate in the business section of Stone, Pigman, Walther, Wittmann L.L.C. from 1999–2001.
