Andy St. Romain is a partner in the firm's Real Estate Practice Group. He concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate transactions, oil and gas, and general business matters. Mr. St. Romain is a licensed CPA with prior tax and governmental audit experience.
Mr. St. Romain has extensive experience in negotiating purchase, lease, and development agreements, financing acquisitions and commercial developments for national retailers, as well as land use and zoning matters. His commercial finance experience includes the representation of developers and lenders in commercial real estate acquisitions, refinances and preparation of private-party loan documents.
Mr. St. Romain has served as borrower's counsel for HUD financed transactions and local counsel for national title insurance companies. He volunteers his time in the form of pro bono work for a local nonprofit organization and is involved in the firm's recruiting efforts, working closely with students at Southern University Law Center.
Representative Matters
- Represented the Developer in the acquisition, financing and development of sixteen retail pharmacy sites, approximately $56,000,000.
- Served as cousel to a regional bank in matters relating to the daily operations of customer accounts.
- Represented a national retailer for the sale of fuel stations throughout the state of Louisiana.
