Andy St. Romain is a member of the firm’s Business & Finance Practice Group, focused primarily on real estate and general business matters. Mr. St. Romain is a licensed CPA with prior tax and governmental audit experience who owned and operated his own real estate mortgage company before attending law school.
Mr. St. Romain's practice includes negotiating purchase agreements, lease agreements, development agreements, and financing for acquisitions and commercial developments for national retailers, as well as land use and zoning matters. His commercial finance experience includes the representation of borrowers and lenders in commercial real estate acquisitions and refinances. He has served as borrower's counsel for HUD financed transactions and local counsel for national title insurance companies. Most recently, he handled the sale of numerous locations of a national gas station chain in the State of Louisiana.
Mr. St. Romain volunteers his time in the form of pro-bono work for a local non-profit organization. He is also involved in the firm's recruiting efforts and works closely with students at the Southern University Law Center.
