Alex Trostorff is a partner in the firm’s Tax, Trusts & Estates Practice Group. His practice encompasses primarily transactional work (corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies) with an emphasis on international tax issues and representing clients in civil and criminal tax controversies before the Internal Revenue Service. He has been Board Certified as a Tax Law Specialist by the Louisiana State Bar Association since 1985.
Prior to joining Jones Walker in 1980, Mr. Trostorff worked in the corporate branch of the National Office of the Internal Revenue Service in Washington, D.C. He is a native of New York and a longtime resident of New Orleans.
