Amy Truett is a partner in the firm’s Business & Commercial Finance Practice Group, focused on serving clients in the health care industry.  Her more than 10 years' legal experience includes emphasis on medical professional and hospital liability litigation; peer review, credentialing, and licensure; state and federal regulatory and compliance issues; and health care contracts. She joined the firm in 1994 and has been a partner since 2001.

Ms. Truett has represented clients in administrative and civil proceedings, including personal injury and property damages actions (premises liability and motor vehicle accidents), workers' compensation, products liability, pharmaceutical liability, contract disputes (breach of contract, trade secrets, and noncompete provisions), health care provider professional liability claims, and peer review hearings. She has also provided general counsel and advices to clients concerning insurance coverage, employment contracts, employee relations, contract negotiation and construction, joint ventures, physician organizations and business arrangements, health care fraud and abuse, health care compliance, and health care professional licensure.

Mrs. Truett is a member of a number of professional associations, including the American Health Lawyers Association.  She is a native of New Orleans.
