Carla Dillon is an associate in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group. To date, the focus of her practice has been on construction litigation, including a suit involving the representation of an airport program manager in multiple suits arising out of the contractor's termination, the representation of a T&M contractor in a dispute with petrochemical plant owner over compensation for extra work and increased costs resulting from design issues, and the representation of a general contractor in a dispute with the owner over payment after the completion of several hotels. Ms. Dillon has also worked on cases involving litigation arising from government contracts, complex e-discovery issues, contract disputes, and expropriation proceedings.

Ms. Dillon currently serves as the Division 1 liaison to the Young Lawyers Division of the American Bar Association's Forum on the Construction Industry, and as a member of the Division 1 and Forum Young Lawyers Section Steering Committees. She is also the Chair of both the Baton Rouge Federal Bar Association Young Lawyers' Section and Membership Committee. Finally, Ms. Dillon routinely volunteers in the legal community, both in performing pro bono work, and by participating as a judge every year in the LSBA Louisiana High School Mock Trial Competition.

Ms. Dillon's technical background and litigation experience allow her to address matters from a unique perspective, often crafting innovative approaches and solutions to the problems her clients face. In all cases, she brings enthusiasm and creativity to the table, with a focus on remaining grounded, and resolving issues with her clients' best interests in mind, no matter how difficult the challenge.
