A native of New Orleans, Lance Sannino was admitted to practice in October 2004. Mr. Sannino’s practice is litigation-oriented with an emphasis on admiralty and maritime law. His practice includes experience in a wide variety of maritime personal injury matters, vessel collisions and allisions, cargo disputes, marine insurance matters, various pollution, towage and salvage matters, maritime lien and contractual disputes, both domestic and international, and in regulatory proceedings before the United States Coast Guard and the United States Army Corps of Engineers. Mr. Sannino’s practice also includes significant experience drafting maritime contracts and providing legal opinions regarding purchases and sales of a wide range of vessels, bills of lading, contracts of affreightment, charter parties, towage agreements, barge fleeting agreements, terminal agreements, berth applications and terminal rules, master service agreements, and other maritime contracts, as well as vessel repair and construction contracts. In addition to his matter-specific representation, Mr. Sannino is also captive counsel for the marine services division of one of the largest publicly-traded midstream energy partnerships in North America, providing daily legal support for the partnership's marine transportation business segment.
