Ben Woodruff is a partner in the firm's Business & Commercial Transactions Practice Group. His practice is predominantly focused on business organizations, commercial lending, and financial transactions. He has experience representing borrowers and commercial banks in connection with a wide variety of commercial lending transactions, including secured and unsecured syndicated credit facilities and debt financings. He also has experience with asset-based commercial loan transactions, working capital facilities, mergers and acquisitions, contract preparation and negotiation, and other banking and financial arrangements. 

Mr. Woodruff joined the firm in 2007, after receiving his juris doctor degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University. He received his bachelor of science degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Louisiana – Lafayette in 2004.


  • Represented a professional sports team as borrower in negotiations and closing of transactions, which included increasing a league-wide credit facility
