Victoria Kennedy joined Jones Walker in 2007 as a special counsel in the Corporate Compliance & White Collar Defense Section of the Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group after practicing at a large New York corporate law firm for more than six years. Ms. Kennedy has managed a number of internal investigations, advised on corporate compliance programs, and participated in negotiations with government regulators in matters involving the FCPA, securities, accounting, and tax regulations. She has litigated contract disputes, bankruptcy actions, and defended against class actions alleging violations of state consumer protection, federal securities, and labor and employment laws. She has also defended pro bono clients in state and federal criminal proceedings.
