Parker Kilgore is a partner in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group and practices from the firm's Baton Rouge office. Mr. Kilgore represents clients in a wide range of litigation matters in state and federal court. His practice focuses on business, commercial, employment, energy, and oil and gas disputes. 

Mr. Kilgore assists clients in prosecuting and defending claims of trade secret theft, unfair trade practices, non-compete violations, confidentiality violations, and computer fraud and abuse. Additionally, he advises clients on strategies to protect their trade secrets and confidential information. Mr. Kilgore drafts and enforces non-competition and non-solicitation agreements and has successfully obtained injunctive relief for clients seeking to protect their trade secrets and enforce their employment agreements. He also litigates complex commercial and employment matters that involve breach-of-contract claims, business torts, fraud claims, fiduciary duty actions, and wage disputes.

Mr. Kilgore also advises and represents a number of energy clients. His energy practice includes representing companies during the development of new pipeline projects, which includes both advising clients prior to acquisition of right-of-way, as well as handling expropriation or imminent domain litigation, property ownership disputes, trespass cases, and disputes related to hydrocarbon storage leases. Mr. Kilgore also represents clients with ongoing oil and gas production, including disputes over mineral ownership and oil and gas royalties. He also represents clients in insurance coverage disputes, construction defect cases, and Louisiana Private and Public Works Acts claims.

Mr. Kilgore received his juris doctor degree and Bachelor of Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University. He is also a 1999 graduate of Hendrix College, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology.
