Monique Cenac joined Jones Walker's Corporate & Securities Practice Group as an associate in 2002. Her practice focuses on the representation of public companies with an emphasis on SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance compliance and corporate finance.
Since 2004, Ms. Cenac has assisted in the representation of a group of public companies that share managerial and administrative resources, and with whom Jones Walker has a full-service legal partnering relationship. Ms. Cenac's experience includes the preparation of proxy statements, coordinating compliance with insider trading policies, assisting with the preparation of SEC reports, coordinating compliance with ethics and business conduct policies, and handling equity and debt securities offerings. Most recently, Ms. Cenac assisted in the representation of a publicly traded mining company in the $26 billion acquisition of another publicly traded mining company, the largest M&A transaction in the mining industry.
