Ron Snider is co-leader of the Business and Banking Practice Group of the firm. He practices bank regulatory law and corporate law. From 1973–1979, Mr. Snider was with the Federal Home Loan Bank Board, first in the Office of the General Counsel, and then as Assistant Secretary. He also served as Assistant Secretary of the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation from 1976–1979.

Mr. Snider is Chairman Emeritus of the board of The Exploreum Science Center, a member of the board of the Alabama Public Library Service and Leadership Alabama, and a past member of the boards of the Mobile Public Library and Mobile Opera. He is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers, the American Bar Association and its Business Law Section, the Bank Counsel Committee of the Louisiana Bankers Association, the Alabama State Bar and its Business Law Section, and a member of its Banking Law Seminar Planning Committee. Mr. Snider is a graduate of the University of Alabama and the University of Alabama School of Law.
