Stephanie Reed Traband is a partner in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group and practices from the firm's Miami office. Ms. Traband brings to Jones Walker a decade's worth of complicated commercial litigation experience, including bankruptcy, real estate, and intellectual property litigation, as well as significant appellate experience. She also practices international law and is the United States representative and Vice President (Common Law), Litigation Commission, of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), in which she is a frequent lecturer on various litigation-related topics.

Prior to joining Jones Walker, Ms. Traband served as a senior associate at Proskauer Rose LLP, where she focused her practice on commercial litigation, arbitration, creditor's rights, and appellate work. She was formerly an associate at the Hickey Law Firm, P.A., where she practiced commercial litigation, maritime law, and personal injury plaintiff cases.

Ms. Traband received her juris doctor degree from the Tulane University School of Law, where she served as a student attorney for the Juvenile Law Clinic and was Editorial Assistant for the Yearbook of International Environmental Law. She received her bachelor of arts degree, with honors and distinction, from the University of Tennessee, where she majored in Political Science and minored in English.
