Margaret Laborde is a member of Jones Walker's Real Estate Practice Group and practices from the firm's Lafayette office. Ms. Laborde joined Jones Walker in 2009 after the firm's merger with Longman Russo, APLC. Ms. Laborde has a varied oil and gas practice, with an emphasis on negotiation and drafting of farmouts, operating agreements, leases, assignments, servitudes, and other agreements relating to oil and gas exploration and production, oil and gas property title examination, and transactions involving the purchase and sale of oil and gas assets.
Ms. Laborde co-authored "Subleases, Overriding Royalty Interests and Reversionary Rights" with R. Thomas Jorden, Jr., which was presented at the 2000 Gulf Coast Institute, held October 26–27.
