Tracy Curtis is a partner in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group and practices from the firm's Lafayette office. Formerly a member of Longman Russo, APLC, Mr. Curtis has extensive experience in all aspects of the litigation process, including jury trials, bench trials, motion practice appeals, writs, and post-judgment proceedings. He has represented clients in a variety of industries, including automotive, construction, insurance, banking, maritime, real estate, telecommunications, and transportation.
Mr. Curtis has handled cases in road hazard, products liability, medical malpractice, architectural professional malpractice, construction defect, bankruptcy, premises liability, false arrest, auto liability, rig explosion, trespass, 1983 actions, employment discrimination, workers' compensation, disability, LHWCA, ad valorem taxes, employment agreements, noncompete agreements, insurance coverage, insurance fraud, and banking fraud. More recently, Mr. Curtis has defended suits for medical malpractice, traumatic brain injury, and severe personal injury from oilfield, auto, and work accidents. He continues to work in commercial litigation over contract and lease disputes, construction liens, open accounts, insurance coverage, and employment issues.
