Carmen Rodriguez is a special counsel in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group and practices from the firm's Lafayette office. Her practice focuses primarily on legal analysis, case evaluation, and composing briefs for both district and appellate courts.

Ms. Rodriguez works with attorneys with varied practices, including the areas of admiralty, federal procedure, telecommunications, and insurance coverage and fraud. She joined Jones Walker in 2009, having previously worked for Longman Russo, APLC in the same capacity. Ms. Rodriguez has also worked for Liskow & Lewis as a litigator in the areas of toxic torts, admiralty, bank director and officer litigation, oil and gas, and commercial disputes.

From 1992–1993 and 2003–2006, Ms. Rodriguez served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Rebecca F. Doherty, U.S. District Judge for the Western District of Louisiana. She also clerked for the Honorable Richard T. Haik, U.S. District Judge for the Western District of Louisiana, from 1993-1996, with special assignment to the Combustion, Inc. multi-district toxic tort litigation.
