Richard Cortizas is a special counsel in the firm's Business & Commercial Transactions Practice Group. He focuses his practice on the representation of clients in transactional matters. Mr. Cortizas represents developers and corporations in various complex land use and zoning matters, and has experience drafting local land use and zoning ordinances. He currently represents several major developers on multi-million-dollar commercial and residential development projects throughout the state of Louisiana.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Cortizas served as Regional Director for U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu in Louisiana.
