Tim Davis is an associate in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group and practices from the firm's Birmingham office. Mr. Davis has general litigation experience involving insurance defense, professional liability, and product liability claims. In addition to his general practice, Mr. Davis has also defended financial institutions in a variety of litigation matters, including cases brought under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). Mr. Davis' practice also includes the defense of claims brought pursuant to the Federal Black Lung Act.
In 2004, Mr. Davis received his juris doctor degree from The University of Alabama School of Law, where he was an Albert W. Copeland Scholar, served as Senior Editor of the Alabama Law and Psychology Review, and was a member of Alpha Epsilon Lambda Honor Society. Mr. Davis received his Bachelor of Science in Biology, cum laude, from The University of Alabama in 2000. As an undergraduate student, he was a Presidential Scholar, a Hugh Kaul Scholar, and a Paul "Bear" Bryant Scholar. Mr. Davis was also a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, the Anderson Society, Gamma Beta Phi, and was named "Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities."
