Jeff Powell is an associate in the firm's Banking & Financial Services Practice Group and practices from the firm's Birmingham office. His practice focuses on commercial real estate, secured lending transactions, loan renegotiations and workouts, creditors' rights, and general corporate law.
Mr. Powell is a 2007 graduate of The University of Alabama School of Law, where he received his juris doctor degree and served as Managing Editor of the Alabama Law and Psychology Review. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Powell worked on the staff of the Senate Banking, Housing & Urban Affairs Committee for Senator Richard Shelby in Washington, D.C. Mr. Powell graduated from Washington and Lee University in 2002, where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and was a member of the football team, being honored as captain his senior season.
