Rachal Dené Chance is an associate in the Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group, and practices from the firm's Lafayette office. Ms. Chance's practice focuses on the areas of insurance, maritime, and general commercial litigation.
She has experience with litigation relating to insurance coverage, contracts, defense and indemnity obligations, the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act (OCSLA), the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act (LHWCA), the Louisiana Oilfield Anti-Indemnity Act (LOAIA), the Texas Oilfield Anti-Indemnity Act (TOAIA), the Louisiana Products Liability Act (LPLA), and maritime law.
Ms. Chance is a 2007 graduate of the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University. From August 2007–August 2008, she clerked for the Honorable John C. Davidson of the Ninth District Judicial Court in Alexandria, Louisiana.
