Leigh Lichty Pipkin is a special counsel in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group and practices from the firm's Mobile office. Ms. Pipkin is also a member of the firm's banking and creditors' rights team.

Ms. Pipkin's practice focuses primarily on the areas of bankruptcy, foreclosures, litigation, banking law, and real estate. She represents clients in the banking, financial services, and real estate industries in these types of matters.

Prior to joining Jones Walker, Ms. Pipkin served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Alabama from 1999–2010. In this role, she handled a wide variety of appellate cases. She also has prior experience representing banks, mortgage companies, and individuals in civil defense litigation, bankruptcy, and real estate matters, and including real estate foreclosures for the State of Alabama. In addition to her private practice experience, Ms. Pipkin served as in-house counsel for AmSouth Mortgage Company in Birmingham.

Ms. Pipkin is the author of the Alabama Real Estate Foreclosure Handbook and has taught legal education courses on foreclosure in Alabama. She is a member of the Alabama State Bar, the Mobile Bar Association, and the Junior League of Mobile, and is a member of the Board of Directors of Hands on South Alabama, also known as Volunteer Mobile.
