Bradley Byrne is a partner in the firm's Business & Commercial Transactions Practice Group and practices from the firm's Mobile and Birmingham offices. He also serves as office head for the firm's Mobile and Montgomery offices. He has practiced law for more than 30 years, and has served a wide range of business clients, primarily in the areas of business and employment law.

In 2007, Mr. Byrne was appointed by the Alabama State Board of Education to serve as Chancellor of the Alabama Department of Postsecondary Education, and served as the chief executive officer of Alabama's two-year college system. In this role, he served as chairman of the State Workforce Planning Council, where he oversaw all of Alabama's workforce development efforts. During that time, he also served on the governor's economic development cabinet.

Mr. Byrne served in the Alabama legislature from 2002–2007, where he was a member of the Education Committee, the Education Budget Committee, and the Judiciary Committee. In addition, he chaired the Joint Oversight Committee on State Parks. From 1994–2002, he was a member of the Alabama State Board of Education. Most recently, Mr. Byrne was a gubernatorial candidate, endorsed by many of Alabama's economic and business organizations.
