Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University, where she received her juris doctor degree and Diploma in Civil Law, magna cum laude. At LSU, Ms. Parenton was a recipient of the Chancellor's Merit Scholarship and was a member of the Legal Association of Women Club. She also received her Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science, summa cum laude, from LSU in 2007.
