Kyle M. Bacon is co-leader of Jones Walker's Commercial Transactions Team and practices from the firm's Lafayette office. Mr. Bacon's practice includes mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, secured financing, private equity investments, commercial transactions, and corporate counseling. He represents companies of all sizes from a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, banking, real estate, healthcare, and manufacturing. He also advises clients in connection with corporate, shareholder, and other commercial disputes.

Mr. Bacon is a graduate of Leadership Lafayette, Class XXIV, and he holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, cum laude, from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he was named an outstanding graduate, and a Juris Doctor Degree and Bachelor of Civil Law from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University, where he was selected to the Louisiana Law Review. He formerly served as a law clerk to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana for the Honorable F.A. Little, Jr. 

In addition to his role as co-leader for the firm’s Commercial Transactions Team, Kyle serves on the firm’s Hiring and Recruiting Committee, Real Estate Team, Mergers & Acquisitions Team, and Energy Industry Team. He is also Chair of the Real Estate and Transactional Section of the Lafayette Bar Association.
