Susan M. Tyler, a partner in the firm's Real Estate Practice Group, has more than thirty years’ experience in all aspects of commercial real estate with an emphasis in commercial lending, including construction lending and commercial workouts, restructurings, and foreclosures in federal and state courts. In addition, Mrs. Tyler represents lenders, developers and business clients in complex commercial real estate transactions, including industrial, multi-family housing, mixed-use commercial, retail, healthcare, agricultural, and timber projects. She is listed in the 2016 edition of Louisiana Super Lawyers in the area of Real Estate, is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® in the areas of Banking and Finance Law, Equipment Finance Law, and Real Estate Law, and is recognized in “Chambers USA – America’s Leading Lawyers for Business” in the area of Real Estate.

Ms. Tyler is a 1986 graduate of Tulane University Law School,where she received her juris doctor degree, and is licensed to practice in Louisiana,Florida, and Texas. She is also a licensed title insurance agent. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Georgetown University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
