Bill Dossett is a partner in the firm's Tax & Estates Practice Group and practices from the firm's Jackson office. He holds an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law, a juris doctor degree from The University of Mississippi School of Law, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Mississippi.

Mr. Dossett began practicing in 1977 and today his practice consists primarily of federal, state, and local taxation issues, real estate, and trusts and estates. He is an active member of the Capitol Area Bar Association, and The Mississippi Bar, where he is a member of the Sections of Taxation, Estates and Trusts, and Real Property and the Section of Taxation of the American Bar Association. He is also a sitting member of the Partnership Committee and Small Business Committee of the Section of Taxation of the ABA. In addition to his practice, he is a popular lecturer on estate planning, business succession planning, and other topics as they pertain to taxation issues.
