Kathryn Hester is special counsel in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group and practices from the firm's Jackson office. She focuses her practice on commercial disputes including litigation, healthcare administrative proceedings, estate challenges, zoning, and gaming law. She has served as Adjunct Professor at Mississippi College School of Law where she taught Pre-Trial Practice. She is also a regular lecturer and writer on gaming and property issues for continuing legal education programs.

Ms. Hester is a member of the Sections of Natural Resources, Health Care, and Gaming Law of The Mississippi Bar, the Sections of Litigation and Health Law in the American Bar Association, and the Mississippi Gaming Lawyers and Oil & Gas Lawyers Associations. She is also a member of the Board of Bar Commissioners for The Mississippi Bar and a Fellow of The Mississippi Bar Foundation. Additionally, she is a former member of the Jackson City Planning and Zoning Board and served as Hinds County Chancellor, a role she was appointed to by the Governor.
