Pamela Prather is special counsel in the firm's Tax & Estates Practice Group and practices from the firm's Jackson office. Ms. Prather focuses her practice in estate planning, and probate and trust administration.

After completing her undergraduate education at the University of Mississippi, with a Bachelor of Accounting, cum laude, Ms. Prather received her legal education at The University of Mississippi School of Law, graduating cum laude, and at the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law earning an LL.M. in Taxation. While at the University of Mississippi, she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Delta Phi, and Omicron Delta Kappa fraternities. Ms. Prather is a member of The Mississippi Bar having served as Chair of the Estates and Trusts Section and as Fellow of the Young Lawyers Division.

She has served as Secretary-Treasurer of the Taxation Section of The Mississippi Bar and as Secretary and Director of the Young Lawyers Division of The Mississippi Bar. She is a past Editor of The Mississippi Lawyer, is a former Director of the Jackson Young Lawyers Association, and has served as a member of the Special Liaison Tax Committee of the Southeastern Region for The Mississippi Bar. Recently, Ms. Prather was honored by being chosen as one of the Outstanding Community Volunteers being honored in the 2010 Goodwill Salute. In addition, she was the recipient of 2011 Delta Gamma Fraternity Oxford Award for community service.
