Deana Moore is special counsel in the firm's Real Estate Practice Group and practices from the Houston office. Ms. Moore's practice focuses on commercial real estate and lending transactions, real estate secured loans, and various other commercial real estate and business transactions. She is a transactional attorney with a broad business practice in real estate and finance transactions. Prior to joining Jones Walker, Ms. Moore practiced with Vinson & Elkins, where she was an associate in the Real Estate and Finance practices. She also practiced with Allen Boone Humphries Robinson, where she represented various public entities and special purposes districts in a variety of real estate related matters. In addition, Ms. Moore has also served as a Staff Attorney for the Texas Twelfth Court of Appeals.

Real Estate
Ms. Moore's real estate transactions experience includes representing buyers and sellers in connection with acquisitions and dispositions of real estate assets, including office buildings, shopping centers, plant facilities, and raw land. She has also experience representing landlords and tenants in a variety of lease and sublease transactions, including commercial office space, medical clinics, shopping center space, and industrial space. In addition, Ms. Moore has experience with general real estate transactions involving a variety of easements, deeds, subordinations, and releases.

Ms. Moore's finance transactions experience includes representing both borrowers and lenders in a variety of secured lending transactions, including revolving credit facilities, real estate financing, syndicated bank financing, project financing, and acquisition financing. She has also been involved in a variety of private equity transactions in connection with their acquisition of assets, entity formations, and financings.
