Deana Moore is special counsel in the firm's Houston office. Ms. Moore is a commercial transactions lawyer with more than 13 years of experience in a variety of commercial transactions. She routinely advises and partners with business clients regarding commercial real estate transactions, supply chain and procurement agreements, technology contracts and various other commercial agreements and business transactions. 

Commercial Transactions

Ms. Moore has experience representing major energy companies in drafting, negotiating, and analyzing a variety of supply chain and procurement agreements for major energy companies, including master goods and services agreements, supply contracts, transportation agreements, purchase orders, joint venture agreements, consulting agreements, product sales agreements, and equipment leases with contract values ranging from $10,000 to $300,000,000. 

She also drafts, negotiates, and analyzes technology related agreements, including software licensing and service agreements, Software/Hardware-as-a-service agreements (Saas, Shaas), confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, data sharing, sponsorship agreements and general vendor contracts.

Real Estate Transactions

Ms. Moore represents buyers and sellers in connection with a variety of complex acquisitions and dispositions of real estate assets involving office buildings, multi-family, banks, hotels, retail and mixed use facilities, industrial and energy facilities, and right-of-way projects.

In addition, she also represents both landlords and tenants in a variety of commercial lease and sublease transactions for office, retail, and industrial facilities. 

She also has experience in representing both borrowers and lenders in financing of real estate projects. Additionally, Ms. Moore has experience with general real estate transactions involving a variety of easements, licenses, access agreements, deeds, rights-of-ways, estoppels, subordinations, and title and survey review.
