Alex Breckinridge is a partner in the firm's Business& Commercial Litigation Practice Group and a member of the Corporate Compliance& White Collar Defense Team.

Mr. Breckinridge focuses his practice on securities litigation and enforcement, corporate governance litigation and complex commercial litigation. He has experience representing financial institutions, broker dealers, investment companies and investment advisors and their boards of directors, as well as public companies and their boards of directors and officers. He has tried cases before state and federal courts and represented clients in enforcement investigations conducted by governmental regulatory bodies, such as the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"), and self-regulatory organizations, such as the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority("FINRA"). He has also assisted in conducting internal investigations.

Prior to joining Jones Walker, Mr. Breckinridge practiced in the White Collar and Securities Litigation Group at Dechert LLP in Washington, DC.
