Thomas Slattery is an associate in the Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group and a member of the Corporate Compliance & White Collar Defense team.

Mr. Slattery is a team member on internal corporate investigations regarding a variety of compliance issues for publicly traded companies, as well as import regulation matters before United States Customs and Border Protection Fines, Penalties, and Forfeitures Offices and related governmental entities. He also handles a host of individual criminal defense matters before state and federal courts in Louisiana.

Prior to joining Jones Walker LLP, Mr. Slattery was an Economic Development Legal Fellow with the International Senior Lawyers Project in New York, where he worked with organizations and governments in Asia, Africa, and Central America, including the East African Court of Justice. 

Mr. Slattery earned his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he was the Articles Editor for the Notre Dame Journal of International and Comparative Law. He earned a Master of Philosophy in International Relations from the University of St. Andrews in St. Andrews, Scotland, and a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Tulane University, where he was a Dean's Honor Scholar.
