Norman ("Skeet") Anseman's practice focuses on the areas of maritime, energy, oil and gas, aviation, commercial litigation, employment, and products liability. He has extensive practice and trial experience in both Louisiana state and federal courts, and has also tried matters before several administrative agencies, including the United States Department of Labor. Mr. Anseman advises clients on energy and offshore contract matters, including master service agreements for oilfield contractors. He has served as counsel in several mass marine casualty claims and is currently lead counsel for a pipeline company in a mass offshore casualty matter. In addition, he is currently involved in a maritime commercial property dispute concerning the loss of a drilling barge. Mr. Anseman routinely represents clients in the offshore industry, such as offshore corporate entities, offshore catering companies, and offshore drilling companies.

Mr. Anseman has served as trial counsel in cases involving maritime issues, contractual disputes, and various tort and personal injury claims. He has authored several appellate briefs, argued before appellate courts, and has authored a successful certiorari denial brief before the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Anseman serves as counsel for a Louisiana-based helicopter company and represents the client in commercial disputes, employment, and tort matters. He also represents several local companies in open account matters and in suits involving allegations of defamation, employment issues, and unfair trade practices. He has also served as counsel for an automobile manufacturer in the airbag products liability litigation, and he also represents various distributors and sellers of consumer products in Louisiana and other states. Mr. Anseman routinely represents international clients from Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, St. Vincent, Norway, and the United Kingdom in various oil and gas, marine, commercial, and products liability disputes.
