Eddie Koehl is special counsel in the Maritime Practice Group. He helps industry participants resolve a broad range of disputes.

Drawing on more than 45 years of experience, Eddie concentrates his practice on admiralty and maritime law, its application to domestic and foreign shipping and the offshore oil and gas industry, as well as tort, insurance, and commercial litigation.

Eddie served as an adjunct professor of maritime law at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law from 1988 to 1999 and as a past president and long-term board member of Boys Hope Girls Hope. Immediately following law school, he served as a law clerk to US District Court Judge Edward J. Boyle. He has been an emeritus member of the Loyola University School of Law Visiting Committee since 2002.
