Will Lampton is a partner in the firm's Business & Commercial Litigation Practice Group and practices from the firm's Baton Rouge office. Mr. Lampton's practice includes a wide range of business litigation cases as well as environmental and toxic tort litigation. He has represented clients in the insurance, banking, financial services, and transportation industries, primarily representing lenders, insurance companies, and publicly and privately held companies involved in commercial disputes.
Mr. Lampton has been involved in most aspects of litigation, including tactical decisions, traditional discovery and e-discovery, drafting substantive pleadings, taking and defending depositions, oral argument, and trial. His experience also extends to complex litigation and complex business disputes.
Representative Matters
- Represented a lender in numerous collection actions involving secured transactions
- Provided day-to-day advice to a large telecommunications industry client regarding servitude/right-of-way issues
- Defended an insurance company in numerous actions for damages, including penalties and attorneys' fees, related to insurance coverage
